Wanda Emm and Howard H Pimborough, both active members of Wrexham Bowmen, undertook a 3 hour marathon shoot to raise much needed funds for some Unganda children.
These children have to walk over 5 miles each day just to go to school, and Wanda’s sister has been raising funds to buy them a new bus.
Wrexham Bowmen all helped out with plenty offering support both collecting arrows and keeping score.
A wonderful day for all, even more knowing we were helping these children…..
As a club Wrexham Bowmen raised over £300 for this worthy cause, and we now understand the target has been reached so the children will soon have their bus.
